This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Collaborate with the Project Director and Construction leader to define site work strategies.
β’ Establish a structure for tracking project financials and physical progress regarding site works, updating it on a monthly basis.
β’ Conduct weekly updates on the site schedule, comparing planned progress against actual progress with the site manager and project planner.
β’ Facilitate communication among project teams to ensure effective project planning and execution.
β’ Engage in meetings with customers.
β’ Identify changes in scope management related to site works and monitor impacts on quantity and quality.
β’ Maintain project site documentation for timely delivery to the customer, including methods, site quality plans, and commissioning reports.
β’ Actively participate in risk mitigation and opportunity evaluation.
β’ Prepare requests for quotations and purchase orders for subcontracting site works.
β’ Oversee specific vendor packages on site, which include piping, painting, and machining.
β’ Develop detailed mobilization plans using framework documentation and checklists to ensure resource loading requirements are fulfilled.
β’ Lead the mobilization tollgate review, representing Construction and Commissioning in project-related evaluations.
β’ Anticipate site mobilization needs, encompassing tooling, safety equipment, warehousing, office infrastructure, worker accommodations, and site training requirements.
β’ Organize and conduct site demobilization upon project completion.
β’ A college or bachelor's degree in management or engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) or relevant proven field experience.
β’ A minimum of 5 years in a project management role within Construction or Commissioning.
β’ Possession of a Project Management Certification.
β’ Familiarity with technical concepts, including hydropower technology, turbines, generators, and mechanical and electrical balance of plant systems.
β’ Experience in field management.
β’ Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
β’ Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
β’ Willingness to travel within the USA at least 30% of the time.
β’ Proven commitment to a strong EHS culture.
