This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with the Project Director and Construction leader to define site work strategies.
• Develop and maintain a monthly tracking system for project financials and physical progress related to site works.
• Conduct weekly updates to the site schedule, comparing actual progress with planned timelines alongside the site manager and project planner.
• Facilitate communication among project teams to ensure effective planning and execution.
• Participate in meetings with customers.
• Identify changes in scope management for site works and oversee the implications on quantity and quality.
• Monitor project site documentation for timely delivery to the customer, which includes methods, quality plans, and commissioning reports.
• Engage in assessments for risk mitigation and opportunities.
• Prepare requests for quotes and purchase requisitions for subcontracting site works.
• Oversee specific vendor packages on-site, such as piping, painting, and machining.
• Develop comprehensive mobilization plans utilizing framework documentation and checklists to ensure resource-loading requirements are satisfied.
• Lead the mobilization tollgate review, representing Construction and Commissioning during project-related evaluations.
• Anticipate mobilization activities at the site, encompassing tooling, safety equipment, warehousing, office infrastructure, worker housing, and specialized site training.
• Organize and lead site demobilization upon project completion.
• A college or bachelor’s degree in management or engineering (Mechanical or Electrical), or equivalent relevant field experience.
• A minimum of 5 years in a project management role within Construction or Commissioning.
• Project Management Certification is preferred.
• Familiarity with technical concepts, such as hydropower technology, turbines, generators, and mechanical and electrical balance of plant systems is preferred.
• Field management experience is preferred.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong leadership abilities.
• Must be willing to travel within the USA at least 30% of the time.
• Proven commitment to EHS culture.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality management and continuous improvement of quality culture.
• Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States.
