This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Oversee and manage the various stages of field operations for projects.
β’ Ensure that site activities are completed safely, adhere to necessary quality standards, are finished on schedule, and remain within budget.
β’ Collaborate with the Project Director and Construction Leader in defining site work strategies.
β’ Construct and update monthly financial and physical progress reports for site operations.
β’ Conduct weekly updates on the site schedule, comparing planned versus actual progress alongside the site manager and project planner.
β’ Facilitate communication across project teams to aid in effective planning and execution.
β’ Engage in meetings with customers.
β’ Identify and manage scope changes related to site works, monitoring impacts on quantity and quality.
β’ Maintain project site documentation for prompt delivery to the customer, including methods, site quality plans, and commissioning reports.
β’ Participate in risk mitigation and opportunity analysis.
β’ Prepare requests for quotes and purchase requests for subcontracting site work.
β’ Oversee specific vendor packages at the site, including piping, painting, and machining.
β’ Develop detailed plans for mobilization and ensure resource-loading requirements are fulfilled.
β’ Lead the mobilization tollgate review and represent Construction & Commissioning during project assessments.
β’ Anticipate needs for site mobilization, encompassing tooling, safety equipment, warehousing, office infrastructure, worker accommodations, and site training.
β’ Plan and execute site demobilization upon project completion.
β’ A college or bachelorβs degree in management or engineering (Mechanical or Electrical), or equivalent substantial field experience.
β’ A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within Construction or Commissioning.
β’ Familiarity with technical concepts related to hydropower technology, turbines, generators, and mechanical and electrical balance of plant systems.
β’ Experience in field management.
β’ Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
β’ Strong leadership abilities.
β’ Willingness to travel within the USA at least 30% of the time.
β’ A robust and demonstrated culture of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS).
β’ A strong focus on quality management and ongoing enhancement of quality culture.
