This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oklahoma.
• Oversee and manage civil construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring that timelines and budgets are adhered to.
• Provide support, mentorship, and guidance to Project Superintendents.
• Lead and supervise teams of superintendents to successfully deliver projects that meet specifications, are completed on schedule, and stay within budget.
• Identify manpower, equipment, and material resources while adhering to budget constraints.
• Manage subcontractors to guarantee quality standards and compliance with specifications.
• Assess project progress and create detailed reports.
• Plan and coordinate projects for optimal efficiency and quality outcomes.
• Communicate with clients regarding budgeting, scheduling, and quantity tracking.
• Adjust budgets and plans in response to unforeseen complications or challenges.
• Assist superintendents with project requirements, coordination of manpower, and daily field operations.
• Ensure adherence to jobsite safety standards, guidelines, and construction codes.
• Coordinate contract modifications, additions, and compliance among all parties involved.
• Collaborate with clients, supervisory personnel, subcontractors, and engineers to address challenges.
• Direct responses to delays, adverse weather conditions, emergencies, and other jobsite issues.
• Cultivate relationships with project stakeholders, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Maintain accurate tracking of projects and budgets.
• Issue and manage One Calls.
• Submit and monitor project submittals and RFIs to ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with the Project Engineer on specifications, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and quantity tracking.
• Oversee multiple crews and projects as required.
• Participate in crew scheduling and assess manpower requirements.
• Provide progress updates and strategic forecasting support to the Director of Project Management.
• Prepare and verify accurate monthly billing in conjunction with the Director of Project Management.
• Utilize knowledge of Topcon/Trimble GPS technology.
• 3-5 years of experience in civil construction.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
• Experience with Procore is preferred.
• Comprehensive understanding of contracts, plans, specifications, and regulations.
• Ability to maintain flexibility and efficiency in a dynamic environment.
• Capacity to make informed and swift decisions, performing well under pressure and in the face of unexpected situations or delays.
• Proficient at multitasking while analyzing and resolving issues.
• Strong understanding of engineering, architectural, and other construction drawings.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Professional demeanor in all situations.
• Team-oriented with leadership qualities.
• Comfortable with delegating tasks.
• Fluency in spoken and written English is a mandatory requirement.
• Ability to traverse and inspect all jobsite areas under various weather conditions.
• Capability to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
• Willingness and ability to travel 100% within the central United States.
• Must be available on-call to address delays, emergencies, adverse weather, and other jobsite issues.
