Project Manager, Business Process Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Manage multiple simultaneous organizational projects, usually lasting 1–6 months with 2–4 team members, focused on the implementation of IT systems, automation, and AI tools within business processes.

• Analyze current and future processes with process owners utilizing BPMN, flowcharts, or other appropriate notations.

• Develop business requirements for development, data, and vendor teams, encompassing scope, user stories, acceptance criteria, and edge cases.

• Establish and uphold project governance, which includes the charter, RACI matrix, planning, risk and issue logs, change requests, and management status reports.

• Promote user adoption post-go-live through training, feedback mechanisms, and measuring process changes.

• Successfully deliver at least one system or process modification from start to finish within the first six months, covering from as-is analysis to measurable adoption.

• Create a reusable project toolkit featuring templates and checklists for future implementation initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Freelancers must fulfill the criteria for working on a freelance basis.

• Include your proposed monthly rate in the application.

• 3–6 years of experience in project management or business analysis within a structured organization.

• Completed at least two cross-functional IT implementation, digitalization, or automation projects from concept to adoption, with verifiable artifacts.

• Strong skills in process analysis and modeling using standard notations such as BPMN or EPC.

• Proven experience in writing business requirements that developers or vendors can utilize.

• Formal project management methodologies such as PMBOK, PRINCE2, or IPMA must be actively applied.

• Proficiency in English (C1+) and Russian.

• Daily use of AI tools like ChatGPT or Claude.

• Preferred: Proficiency in German.

• Preferred: Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, IPMA, CBAP, or IREB.

• Hands-on experience with BPMN 2.0.

• Basic SQL knowledge.

• Familiarity with tools like Fibery, Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms.

• Experience in vendor or SaaS selection and implementation.

• Background in fintech or another regulated industry.
