Project Manager, Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Conduct comprehensive research on markets, products, services, technologies, operating models, and commercial prospects within the insurance, pet care, and related sectors.

• Perform competitor and industry analyses to uncover emerging trends, identify unmet needs, and explore business opportunities.

• Convert research insights into actionable recommendations, testable concepts, management briefings, and prioritized research and development initiatives.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to grasp business requirements, objectives, and limitations.

• Document processes, workflows, user journeys, business rules, as well as functional and non-functional specifications.

• Create business requirements documents, user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps, and gap analyses.

• Identify considerations related to business, operations, technology, data, and compliance.

• Oversee projects from initial discovery through to validation, implementation, or handover.

• Formulate project plans and manage timelines, resources, dependencies, risks, and deliverables.

• Coordinate efforts among cross-functional teams and external partners.

• Research and assess vendors, technology solutions, and potential partnerships.

• Evaluate technical, commercial, and operational feasibility, including prototypes, proofs of concept, and minimum viable product initiatives.

• Provide strategic recommendations on potential solutions.

• Investigate opportunities related to artificial intelligence, machine learning, generative AI, and process automation.

• Take into account data quality, privacy, security, regulatory, and ethical considerations.

• Facilitate workshops with stakeholders.

• Aid in ensuring successful project handovers and document lessons learned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in project management, business analysis, or similar project delivery environments.

• Demonstrated success in delivering complex projects.

• Practical experience in both project management and business analysis roles.

• Capacity to guide initiatives from conception and discovery through requirements gathering, delivery, and evaluation.

• Excellent research and analytical capabilities.

• Ability to explore unfamiliar sectors, technologies, products, and business models to identify opportunities.

• Experience in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and solution requirements.

• Proficient in process mapping and translating business challenges into clear, structured, and testable specifications.

• Strong project management and planning skills.

• Experience managing scope, timelines, resources, dependencies, risks, and deliverables across multiple projects.

• Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional stakeholders, technical teams, external providers, and vendors.

• Excellent communication skills for engaging with both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Strong commercial judgment, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to weigh business benefits against costs, complexity, and risks.

• Experience with prototyping, proofs of concept, minimum viable product development, AI, machine learning, automation, business case preparation, or feasibility assessments is highly valued.

• Familiarity with insurance, financial services, technology, or other regulated sectors is advantageous.
