Project Manager, BMS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Create agendas and establish as well as manage comprehensive project budgets and timelines for every project and its phases.

• Keep building management informed about the status of the projects.

• Prepare and organize project reports and drawing reviews throughout the conceptual, schematic, design development, and construction phases.

• Assist in the selection, contracting, and supervision of consultants and construction teams.

• Evaluate requisitions, change orders, and project invoices; discuss costs and impacts with clients and property management.

• Provide marketing support to clients as requested.

• Collaborate with building/facility personnel to meet quality, service, cost, and profit objectives.

• Report significant issues, findings, outcomes, and recommendations to the immediate supervisor.

• Advise management and secure approvals for organizational modifications, additional commitments, and expenditures that exceed approved budgets.

• Work alongside client representatives on-site and coordinate with property or facility management teams.

• Cooperate with account managers, building/facility management teams, clients, owners, and other stakeholders.

• Uphold high qualitative and quantitative work standards and consistently enhance field knowledge.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Architecture.

• At least 5 years of directly related experience in an engineering/construction project accountability role.

• A minimum of 5 years of project management experience is required.

• At least 3 years of supervisory experience in a project management role, particularly in leading, motivating, and developing team members.

• Preferably possess hands-on experience with tenant improvement construction projects.

• Proficient in communication, both oral and written.

• Strong relationship management skills.

• Demonstrated leadership abilities.

• Effective multi-tasking capabilities.

• Technical proficiency.

• Skilled in consultation.

• Excellent organizational skills.

• Strong time management abilities.

• Committed to adhering to corporate, building, client, and government policies, laws, regulations, building codes, and safety standards.
