Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Act as the primary operational liaison between the client and the Company for project and service solutions.

• Supervise moderate to complex programs and projects, encompassing solution planning, analysis, configuration, and execution tasks.

• Facilitate the implementation of optimal business and system process practices.

• Cultivate relationships with both business and executive stakeholders, both internal and external.

• Develop strategies for contingency planning and risk management.

• Organize and schedule project goals, milestones, and deliverables.

• Formulate and oversee project plans and timelines.

• Establish project schedules, distribute resources, and track progress.

• Ensure project objectives are aligned with company goals while clarifying objectives for the project team.

• Lead the identification and resolution of issues.

• Oversee and manage the project scope.

• Organize and participate in client meetings.

• Showcase technology in proposed solutions to clients and other stakeholders, as appropriate.

• Clearly communicate design rationale and functional strategy throughout the project lifecycle when new client or technical requirements require adjustments.

• Present deliverables to the client at key project milestones.

• Gather, discuss, and act upon client feedback.

• Collaborate with the client on change orders throughout the project lifecycle.

• Anticipate, explore, and respond to client inquiries.

• Provide support and assist in troubleshooting delivered work during and after the project.

• Ensure that client expectations regarding product and service quality are not only met but exceeded.

• Manage matrixed project team members concerning assigned project tasks.

• Carry out additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, skills, and experience to fulfill job responsibilities.

• PMP certification is preferred.

• A minimum of three (3) years of proven experience managing all phases of the project life cycle, from developing comprehensive project plans to executing and managing those plans on time and within budget.

• Experience in working with CROs, pharmaceutical companies, or other centralized service providers used in clinical studies is advantageous.

• Strong financial acumen is essential.

• Proven expertise in financial management and forecasting skills.

• Familiarity with project management software tools and management techniques.

• Demonstrated leadership abilities and capacity to manage, motivate, and engage a client.

• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to leverage technology and tools to enhance the effectiveness of deliverables and services.

• Proficient in MS Office, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project, with the ability to generate detailed reports and presentations utilizing these tools.

• Travel requirement: 5% - 10%.
