Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee and direct intricate customer interactions and project initiatives across various functional teams.

• Facilitate project planning, milestone oversight, dependency tracking, issue resolution, and execution delivery throughout the project lifecycle.

• Develop and uphold project timelines, action logs, risk registers, governance documentation, and status reporting materials suitable for executive review.

• Foster cross-functional execution and alignment among Engineering, Product Management, Testing, Operations, Legal, Sales, and customer stakeholders.

• Lead customer interactions, governance meetings, delivery evaluations, and project status discussions.

• Manage stakeholder expectations through proactive communication, escalation of issues, and consistent follow-up.

• Proactively identify risks, blockers, and dependencies while ensuring accountability and resolution across teams.

• Oversee scope management and change control processes in alignment with contractual obligations and business goals.

• Report on project health, delivery status, risks, financial implications, dependencies, and key decisions to leadership and customer stakeholders.

• Ensure adherence to organizational, contractual, and regulatory standards throughout all stages of the project.

• Promote operational enhancements and contribute to PMO delivery best practices and process optimization initiatives.

• Function effectively in dynamic environments where priorities, timelines, and requirements may shift.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, PMO, or a similar delivery role.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience).

• Proven experience in leading customer-centric projects within complex, cross-functional settings.

• Strong organizational, prioritization, and project execution abilities.

• Proficient in creating and maintaining project timelines, governance documents, risk registers, dependency management, and executive-level reporting.

• Exceptional written, verbal, presentation, and stakeholder communication skills.

• Capability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities concurrently.

• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills.

• Proven ability to work independently and foster accountability across teams.

• Experience working in Agile, hybrid, or structured project delivery frameworks.

• Strong collaboration and leadership abilities across technical, operational, business, and customer teams.

• PMP certification is preferred.

• Experience in government, regulated, or highly compliance-oriented environments is strongly preferred.

• Familiarity with state, local, or federal government contracts, compliance requirements, and customer delivery expectations is preferred.

• Experience supporting customer-facing implementations, enterprise delivery initiatives, or public sector programs is preferred.

• Experience navigating complex stakeholder environments involving technical teams, business leadership, external customers, and regulatory factors is preferred.
