Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee and manage intricate customer engagements and project initiatives involving cross-functional teams.

• Facilitate project planning, milestone tracking, dependency management, issue resolution, and execution throughout the project lifecycle.

• Develop and maintain project timelines, action logs, risk registers, governance documentation, and status reporting artifacts suitable for executive review.

• Foster cross-functional execution and alignment among Engineering, Product Management, Testing, Operations, Legal, Sales, and customer stakeholders.

• Lead communications with customers, governance discussions, delivery reviews, and project status meetings.

• Manage stakeholder expectations through proactive communication, effective issue escalation, and consistent follow-through.

• Proactively identify risks, blockers, and dependencies while promoting accountability and resolution among teams.

• Manage scope and change control processes in accordance with contractual obligations and business objectives.

• Report on project health, delivery status, risks, financial implications, dependencies, and key decisions to leadership and customer stakeholders.

• Ensure adherence to organizational, contractual, and regulatory standards throughout all project phases.

• Promote operational enhancements and contribute to PMO delivery best practices and process optimization initiatives.

• Function effectively in dynamic environments where priorities, timelines, and requirements may shift rapidly.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of project management, PMO, or similar delivery experience.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).

• Proven experience in leading customer-facing projects in complex, cross-functional settings.

• Strong organizational, prioritization, and project execution capabilities.

• Experience in developing and maintaining project schedules, governance documents, risk registers, dependency management, and executive-level reports.

• Exceptional written, verbal, presentation, and stakeholder communication abilities.

• Capability to manage multiple projects and conflicting priorities concurrently.

• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills.

• Proven ability to work independently and drive accountability within teams.

• Experience in Agile, hybrid, or structured project delivery frameworks.

• Excellent collaboration and leadership skills across technical, operational, business, and customer teams.

• PMP certification is preferred.

• Experience in government, regulated, or highly compliance-driven environments is strongly preferred.

• Familiarity with state, local, or federal government contracts, compliance obligations, and customer delivery requirements is preferred.

• Experience in supporting highly customer-facing implementations, enterprise delivery initiatives, or public sector programs is preferred.

• Experience working within complex stakeholder environments involving technical teams, business leaders, external customers, and regulatory considerations is preferred.
