This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• Oversee several simultaneous technology and modernization projects from their initiation to deployment and operational transition.
• Create and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, and resource allocations.
• Coordinate activities among engineering, operations, cybersecurity, infrastructure, quality assurance, and business teams.
• Facilitate governance activities for projects, including steering committees, status meetings, and executive briefings.
• Track project scope, risks, issues, and dependencies while ensuring prompt resolutions.
• Support Agile delivery methodologies, encompassing sprint planning, backlog management, release coordination, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage project budgets, labor utilization, and overall performance metrics.
• Oversee system implementation, testing, deployment, and transition-to-operations tasks.
• Direct change management, communications, training, and stakeholder engagement efforts.
• Assist with data migration and system integration projects, including planning, validation, and cutover activities.
• Produce and maintain essential project documentation, status reports, action logs, risk registers, lessons learned, and performance dashboards.
• Ensure adherence to organizational policies, governance processes, and quality standards.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and project teams.
• Identify opportunities to enhance project delivery processes, tools, and methodologies.
• A bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Project Management, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in project management, particularly in leading technology-driven initiatives.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required.
• SAFe Scrum Master Certified certification is mandatory.
• Experience in managing Salesforce implementations, platform enhancements, CRM modernization projects, or enterprise cloud application initiatives.
• Experience supporting federal government IT modernization, digital transformation, housing programs, inspections, regulatory programs, or large-scale enterprise application implementations, including those associated with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) or similar organizations.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
• Strong grasp of project planning, budgeting, risk management, and resource allocation.
• Experience with cloud-based platforms, enterprise applications, or technology implementations.
