Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Oversee projects from initiation to completion, encompassing scope definition, planning, budgeting, resource coordination, status updates, risk management, and escalation procedures.

• Conduct project stand-up meetings.

• Act as a reliable point of contact for clients and the PortX technical team.

• Maintain a focus on customer outcomes, ensuring projects yield significant and measurable value.

• Engage key stakeholders at appropriate stages.

• Proactively identify and address delivery challenges as priorities and requirements change.

• Provide managers and key stakeholders with clear, strategic updates on progress, risks, context, insights, and opportunities.

• Manage the project lifecycle comprehensively, adjusting time and availability according to business needs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong understanding of project management principles and practices, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects.

• Practical experience with Agile methodologies, including facilitating ceremonies and coordinating cross-functional teams.

• Solid comprehension of system integrations, APIs, and related concepts.

• Background in banking, credit unions, or payments, preferably involving core banking systems, digital banking, ACH, or ISO 20022.

• Excellent proficiency in both written and spoken English.

• Confident and credible presence when interacting with customers.

• Proactive and self-motivated approach with strong planning, prioritization, and time-management abilities in a remote work environment.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Highly organized and reliable, with a keen attention to detail.

• Adaptable and responsive, capable of adjusting to changing priorities and tight deadlines.

• Collaborative and solutions-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership.

• Composed and confident when navigating ambiguity, risk, or competing stakeholder demands.

• Dedicated to fostering productive relationships and providing exceptional customer experiences.
