This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oklahoma, +1 more state.
• Oversee all facets of assigned mission-critical communication system projects.
• Ensure successful delivery of contractual obligations, meeting timelines, budgets, and achieving customer satisfaction.
• Act as the primary point of contact and lead cross-functional teams from project initiation through completion or transition.
• Maintain compliance with quality metrics, deadlines, and budgetary limits.
• Supervise pre-tax profit while managing quality, cost, and time restrictions.
• Direct and coordinate the activities of the project team.
• Lead extensive programs or sections of intricate programs.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, establish deliverable timelines, and monitor progress.
• Utilize project management tools such as schedules, critical path analysis, budgets, change orders, risk assessments, and action-item logs.
• Set up, monitor, and audit project budgets; evaluate variances and create action plans accordingly.
• Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors for effective project execution.
• Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs.
• Assess project performance and report or escalate issues to management.
• Engage with customer organizations and internal senior stakeholders.
• Conduct project reviews and status meetings.
• Manage relationships with project resources and handle project staff reporting, administration, and communication.
• Implement Six Sigma and PMBOK methodologies while promoting Project Management best practices.
• Identify and relay defects that may impact upgrade quality and reliability.
• Support project closure and successful upgrades.
• Assist in formulating business plans, strategies, and approaches for potential business opportunities.
• Participate in quarterly project reviews.
• Travel to customer locations for on-site upgrades.
• Must reside in the State of Texas or Oklahoma.
• Bachelor’s Degree with 4+ years of project management experience OR 6+ years in project management, engineering, or a related field.
• Basic Requirements: Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years of experience in Project Management OR 6+ years in Project Management, LMR, RF Systems, Radio Frequency, Radio Communications, Wired/Wireless Communication Systems, IT, Motorola, Military experience, or Public Safety experience.
• Proven experience in forecasting and driving revenue through project management.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma and other project management methodologies.
• Experience with at least one of the following: Public Safety communications systems, cellular infrastructure, civil construction, Military communications, or IT Networks.
• PMP and/or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification.
• Familiarity with Motorola Solutions Astro 25 Public Safety systems.
• Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain any necessary security clearance required for government contracts.
• Must successfully complete a stringent fingerprint background check in accordance with the CJIS Security Policy.
• Legal authorization to work indefinitely in the U.S.; employer work permit sponsorship is not available.
• Must be able to travel to customer locations for on-site upgrades.
• Travel within Texas and Oklahoma is required; travel may vary from 25% to 75% / 50% to 75%.
• Must be a self-motivated team player capable of working effectively with general guidance toward objectives.
