Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Implement complex customer projects after the handoff from the sales team.

• Act as the main point of accountability for project delivery and customer escalation.

• Manage contractual commitments, commercial risks, customer expectations, change orders, variation requests, and additional sales opportunities.

• Lead international, cross-functional teams, including engineering, software, site management, and subcontractors.

• Ensure compliance with Körber's Project Excellence methodology, quality standards, and documentation processes.

• Create and execute project plans that encompass resource allocation, forecasting, scheduling, and budgeting.

• Track progress, identify risks, implement corrective measures, and ensure timely delivery within budget and to quality standards.

• Oversee installation, commissioning, acceptance activities, and PAC/FAC milestones.

• Provide updates on project status and recommendations for decision-making.

• Manage project documentation, supplier tender processes, milestone-based invoicing, and customer reporting.

• Collaborate with customers, engineering, site management, sales, service, supply chain, finance, manufacturing, system integration teams, and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, a related technical field, or a comparable combination of education and experience.

• Over 8 years of project management experience, ideally in logistics, automation, material handling, or industrial settings.

• Strong proficiency in complex project planning, budgeting, forecasting, risk management, and execution.

• Experience in matrix organizations and leading cross-functional, international teams.

• Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.

• Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Self-driven, decisive, and adaptable, demonstrating integrity and accountability.

• Customer-oriented leadership, business acumen, entrepreneurial mindset, and ability to achieve results.

• Candidates must currently be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

• Project Management certification (PMP, CAPM, IPMA, PRINCE2, or similar) is preferred.
