Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Independently manage intricate IT projects throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.

• Ensure quality, budget adherence, timelines, performance, and high levels of customer satisfaction.

• Assist Senior Project Managers by offering professional guidance and mentoring to Project Managers.

• Plan, oversee, and deliver projects according to the V-Modell XT, utilizing both traditional and agile methodologies.

• Create a structured project framework, which encompasses the project management plan and risk and opportunity management.

• Assume responsibility for the technical, organizational, regulatory, security, contractual, and financial dimensions of projects.

• Oversee contract compliance, identify variances, and manage change requests.

• Monitor project expenditures and initiate corrective measures as needed.

• Define, implement, and continuously enhance the project management plan.

• Serve as the primary liaison between clients, internal teams, and external service providers.

• Organize and track project deliverables effectively.

• Prepare, present, and communicate project updates and status reports.

• Manage resource allocation, including defining requirements, conducting interviews, and validating suitable team members for the project.

• Support the ongoing development of services in terms of delivery capability, delivery models, and customer-specific needs.

• Ensure the continuity of active projects through effective stakeholder and customer management.

• Manage complex projects within the public sector and public administration.

• Coordinate international projects.

• Provide expertise in Enterprise Architecture Management and utilize modern project management tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Software Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

• A minimum of ten years of proven professional experience in managing complex IT projects.

• Extensive experience with the V-Modell XT project methodology.

• Several years of hands-on experience leading traditional IT projects within a conventional project management framework.

• In-depth knowledge of agile project management methodologies, particularly Scrum.

• Experience in public sector and public administration projects.

• Proven experience managing projects with cross-border responsibilities.

• Comprehensive knowledge of Enterprise Architecture Management.

• Familiarity with Register Factory and/or IsyFact.

• Proficient in Jira, Zephyr, Confluence, and Git or GitLab.

• Strong analytical skills, a high level of ownership, and a structured, solution-focused work approach.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a confident demeanor in customer and stakeholder interactions.

• Business-fluent in German.

• Fluent in English.

• Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP), PMI, PRINCE2, or an equivalent project management certification.
