Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Oversee the coordination and execution of a multifaceted software and data program.

• Ensure alignment among various technical workstreams regarding scope, priorities, risks, dependencies, and client commitments.

• Facilitate collaboration between Software Engineering, Data, DevOps, and QA teams.

• Manage concurrent workstreams, dependencies, milestones, releases, and delivery obligations.

• Oversee project scope, timelines, priorities, risks, blockers, and dependencies.

• Take ownership of project planning, execution monitoring, status reporting, and communication with stakeholders.

• Create delivery plans, outline responsibilities, establish acceptance criteria, and define "Definition of Done" for teams.

• Identify potential delivery risks, escalate issues as necessary, and implement mitigation strategies until resolved.

• Lead planning, refinement, status, risk, and cross-functional coordination meetings.

• Collaborate directly with client stakeholders to ensure alignment on scope, priorities, progress, risks, and delivery expectations.

• Provide client-oriented updates on project status, milestones, dependencies, risks, and decisions needed.

• Coordinate releases across teams with differing development or release schedules.

• Maintain records of decisions, action items, project plans, risks, and dependencies.

• Convert stakeholder needs into clear, actionable outcomes for technical teams.

• Operate within established client processes and constraints before suggesting modifications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in managing complex software delivery projects that involve multiple engineering disciplines, including Software Engineering, Data, DevOps, and QA.

• Proven experience in coordinating several parallel workstreams, dependencies, milestones, releases, and delivery commitments.

• Strong grasp of the software development lifecycle and Agile delivery methodologies.

• Capability to collaborate effectively with Technical Leads and engineering teams without needing to make technical decisions.

• Experience in managing project scope, timelines, priorities, risks, blockers, and dependencies in intricate delivery settings.

• Strong accountability for project planning, execution tracking, status reporting, and stakeholder communication.

• Experience in developing clear delivery plans, defining responsibilities, setting acceptance criteria, and establishing "Definition of Done" across teams.

• Ability to recognize delivery risks early, escalate as needed, and drive mitigation strategies to resolution.

• Significant experience in facilitating planning, refinement, status, risk, and cross-functional coordination sessions.

• Proven experience in collaborating directly with client stakeholders while maintaining alignment around scope, priorities, progress, risks, and delivery expectations.

• Ability to deliver clear and transparent client-facing reports, including project health, milestones, dependencies, risks, and decisions required.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities, adept at navigating competing priorities and holding teams and stakeholders accountable for commitments.

• Experience in coordinating releases and deliveries across teams that operate on different development or release timelines.

• Exceptional documentation and organizational skills, including tracking decisions, action items, project plans, risks, and dependencies.

• Business Analysis expertise is highly regarded, especially the ability to clarify business needs, facilitate requirements discussions, document requirements, and translate stakeholder expectations into actionable tasks for technical teams.

• Ability to function effectively within an existing client environment, understanding established processes and constraints before proposing changes.

• Experience in managing vendor transitions, inherited projects, or intricate existing platforms is highly valued.

• Experience in regulated, compliance-driven, or audited environments is appreciated.

• Proficient English communication skills and confidence in engaging directly with clients and senior stakeholders.
