Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Oversee multidisciplinary design teams in providing facility solutions for clients in the life sciences, biotechnology, and pharmaceutical sectors.

• Manage the design process of intricate facility projects from initial concept to construction documentation.

• Ensure that projects align with client objectives, regulatory requirements, and CRB quality standards.

• Act as the main design contact for clients and oversee expectations throughout the project lifecycle.

• Lead and coordinate the efforts of architects, engineers, consultants, and external partners.

• Deliver cohesive solutions on time and within budget constraints.

• Define the project scope, create design budgets, and track progress.

• Ensure that designs comply with relevant codes, standards, GMP, FDA, and EU Annex 1 regulations.

• Advocate for innovative technologies and sustainable design methodologies, including CFD modeling, energy-efficient systems, and modular construction approaches.

• Identify potential design risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Over 7 years of experience in design project management, particularly in pharmaceutical or biotech facility design.

• Strong grasp of GMP, cleanroom design, and regulatory landscapes.

• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and juggle multiple projects simultaneously.

• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and organizational abilities.

• Proficient in design software (Bluebeam, Navisworks) and project management tools.

• PMP or a comparable project management certification.

• Knowledge of progressive contracting and integrated project delivery (IPD) models.
