Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Oversee multidisciplinary design teams in providing facility solutions for clients in life sciences, biotechnology, and pharmaceuticals.

• Manage the design phase of intricate facility projects from initial concept to construction documentation.

• Ensure alignment with client objectives, regulatory requirements, and CRB quality standards.

• Act as the main design point of contact with clients, managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.

• Coordinate efforts among architects, engineers, consultants, and external partners.

• Define the scope of projects, establish design budgets, and track progress.

• Ensure that designs comply with relevant codes, standards, GMP, FDA, and EU Annex 1 requirements.

• Advocate for innovative technologies and sustainable design practices, including CFD modeling, energy-efficient systems, and modular construction.

• Identify potential design risks and implement strategies to mitigate them, preventing delays or budget overruns.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Over 7 years of experience in design project management, preferably within the pharmaceutical or biotech facility design sector.

• Strong grasp of GMP, cleanroom design, and regulatory frameworks.

• Demonstrated capability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects at once.

• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and organizational abilities.

• Proficiency in design software (such as Bluebeam, Navisworks) and project management tools.

• PMP or a similar project management certification.

• Familiarity with progressive contracting and integrated project delivery (IPD) models.
