This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Collaborate with Connection sales subsidiaries to execute medium to large, moderately complex projects.
β’ Establish, oversee, and drive project execution utilizing established project management lifecycle methodologies.
β’ Act as the main contact for all project-related communications.
β’ Ensure adherence to all phases of the project.
β’ Support clients and the sales team in planning, scoping, scheduling, and defining project requirements during the pre-sales phase.
β’ Guide and mentor less experienced project managers.
β’ Create project artifacts to deliver contractual obligations.
β’ Manage both internal resources and third-party service providers.
β’ Take initiative in managing project scope, budget, and timeline.
β’ Identify and mitigate risks and issues, resolving escalated matters as necessary.
β’ Verify milestone completions and ensure that time and expenses are accurately recorded and validated.
β’ Update relevant systems and the PMO Manager as necessary.
β’ Execute or supervise billing submissions.
β’ Conclude projects according to established methodologies.
β’ Meet weekly status and portfolio reporting obligations.
β’ Travel may be necessary for project kickoffs, pilot programs, milestone reviews, or client meetings.
β’ Candidates must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
β’ Over 7 years of progressive project management experience with IT professional services and third-party vendors.
β’ Proven experience in leading projects across various teams, clients, and managing partners/vendors.
β’ Ability to identify, prioritize, resolve, and escalate risks and issues effectively.
β’ Strong skills in managing project scope, budget, and timeline.
β’ Advanced organizational and time management abilities.
β’ Experience in providing project status updates and reporting.
β’ Demonstrated experience in project change management.
β’ Familiarity with project closure activities, including lessons learned and project surveys.
β’ Ability to listen, anticipate customer needs, and proactively manage expectations.
β’ Experience in creating project artifacts such as budgets, rosters, risk registers, mitigation plans, schedules, and communication plans.
β’ Capability to handle shifting priorities, make informed decisions, negotiate, and maintain attention to detail.
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
β’ Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
β’ PMP certification is required or the ability to obtain PMP certification within the first 6 months of employment.
