Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina, +1 more location.

📋 Description

• Strategize and execute the deployment of Baxter’s surgical product line within medical and healthcare establishments across a designated region.

• Ensure construction projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.

• Participate in coordination meetings as necessary to confirm site readiness.

• Oversee the integration of in-house and third-party equipment, including video cables and customized monitor mounts.

• Keep track of pre-installation and rough-in details for external contractors.

• Recognize, communicate, and address customer concerns that could jeopardize project success, both internally and at client locations.

• Update customer project and C-level management, Baxter senior management, and internal project team members on the progress of multiple projects.

• Employ change management best practices to guide product implementation initiatives.

• Discover out-of-scope opportunities and collaborate with relevant team members to pursue them.

• Achieve or surpass project metrics related to pre-installation planning, risk management, potential issues, mitigation strategies, project delivery, and project closeout.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree is mandatory.

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required.

• Willingness to travel overnight up to 75% of the time.

• Experience in managing capital equipment projects is preferred.

• Familiarity with construction processes is advantageous.

• Prior experience with medical equipment is a plus.

• Capability to proactively identify potential future challenges and formulate strategies to mitigate or prevent setbacks.

• Must reside within 35 miles of an airport.

• PMP, PMI, IPMA, or an equivalent project management certification is preferred.

• Must have authorization to work for any employer in the U.S.
