Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Oversee various projects as designated by the Director of the Project Management Center of Excellence.

• Assume responsibility for the overall objectives and execution of projects that you manage directly.

• Guide the comprehensive project planning, objectives, and execution of project teams.

• Facilitate discussions across different functions to achieve alignment on common project goals.

• Handle team communications and stakeholder management across all departments.

• Collaborate with Division leadership and functional managers to resolve issues faced by project teams.

• Regularly update project status reports in dashboards and Product Group roadmaps.

• Interact with Product Group contacts in Marketing, OFS, and R&D regarding roadmap planning.

• Assist in implementing Portfolio Management as a member of the PMCoE.

• Share best practices within the team to foster the development of Project Managers.

• Support the growth of Agilent’s Chemistries and Supplies Division by leading key new product development projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree or an equivalent qualification in Chemistry or Life Sciences.

• Technical expertise in Spectroscopy, Chromatography, Chemical/Biological Standards, or Life Sciences.

• Over 8 years of experience in the chemical or life sciences industry.

• At least 5 years of experience in project management.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills for collaboration, negotiation, and networking.

• Proven ability in meeting facilitation, project planning, and managing stakeholders.

• Demonstrated capability in delivering customer solutions by converting broad concepts into structured programs.

• Experience with Agilent Consumables business is preferred, but not mandatory.

• PMP, Agile, or Six Sigma certification is preferred, though not required.

• Willingness to travel 10% of the time.
