Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Oversee the implementation of medium-sized projects.

• Ensure that all associated activities are carried out in compliance with procedures, regulations, standards, specifications, and objectives.

• Guide project team members to fulfill project requirements, deliver on contracted outputs, and achieve the promised project outcomes.

• Direct the project team and define the approach for project execution.

• Supervise planning, monitoring, and control activities for both internal and external resources to meet all project objectives.

• Track and manage project progress, optimize resource utilization, and oversee project financials.

• Identify, assess, quantify, and manage project risks effectively.

• Ensure that all project opportunities are recognized and pursued.

• Facilitate formal project acceptance, contract closure, and customer acknowledgment in line with the contract.

• Contribute to ABB’s Electrification Service Division.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business Field, along with up to 5 years of relevant experience; alternatively, a unique combination of education and experience or proven achievements.

• Project management experience is essential.

• PMP certification is a plus.

• Excellent communication skills with a team-oriented mindset.

• Capability to manage multiple projects and priorities concurrently.

• Strong reputation for customer-centricity.

• Familiarity and hands-on experience with SAP, MS Word, MS Project, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and other office applications.

• Ability to interpret Engineering drawings and specifications.

• Experience in navigating the cultural diversity of a global business environment.

• Uphold high standards for safety and cleanliness and ensure compliance with all environmental regulations.

• Candidates must possess work authorization that allows them to work for ABB in the US.
