This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Execute established design concepts and standards for Intuitive Health.
• Lead, collaborate with, and oversee both internal and external designers, professional staff, and external Architectural and Engineering resources.
• Improve patient experience by working closely with Construction and Real Estate teams.
• Plan, organize, and direct architectural programs and activities.
• Coordinate the efforts of Project Architects and balance multidisciplinary MEP and structural work throughout the project's development.
• Engage in reviews by governing agencies to ensure code compliance.
• Develop conceptual drawings, site plans, and other minor illustrations as required.
• Facilitate design work sessions during all phases of plan documentation with internal team members and partner representatives.
• Upload SD, DD, CD, permit-approved sets, RFIs, specifications, and submittal sheets to designated software platforms.
• Prepare agendas and record meeting minutes after design calls, capturing notes, next steps, and design status.
• Monitor project financial aspects and coordinate team efforts to adhere to agreed schedules.
• Oversee Design & Architecture from Schematic Design through project opening, including architecture, civil, engineering review, RFIs, and punch-list determination.
• Manage the design process with partners and operations teams, providing bi-weekly status, milestone, and task updates.
• Review, approve, and manage A&E proposals and project quotes.
• Track budget costs and modifications for Architecture & Design budgets.
• Conduct site visits as necessary.
• Coordinate the review of submittals, RFI responses, and specification verifications with architects and engineers.
• Monitor and address permit comments.
• Collaborate with Intuitive Health and health system partners regarding permit status and expected approval dates.
• Project-manage and collaborate with architects, MEP, civil teams, or health system partners on construction-document execution.
• Manage project file documentation, including quotes, plans, submittals, and related documents.
• Oversee the Design and CD process schedule and escalate any delays.
• Enhance internal and partner relations through exceptional project delivery.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Interior Design, or a related field is preferred.
• A minimum of 4–6 years of relevant experience in architectural, design, construction, or healthcare project management is preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
• Strong proficiency in Revit is preferred.
• Experience in reviewing architectural and construction documents and supporting project implementation is essential.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and MS Project is required.
• Familiarity with healthcare design standards, permitting processes, and construction coordination is preferred.
• Experience in supporting healthcare facility design and construction projects is preferred.
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with operational leaders, consultants, contractors, vendors, and project stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills are required.
• Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret architectural and construction documents is essential.
• Knowledge of financial terms and principles, with the capability to assist with project budgeting, cost tracking, and basic financial analysis.
• Experience with Smartsheets, CAD/CAFM software, and project management platforms is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment are crucial.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously is necessary.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
