Project Management Specialist – Agile Delivery

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete project delivery from initiation to successful conclusion.

• Develop and sustain project plans, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams encompassing Operations, Engineering, Product, Finance, Sales, and Executive Leadership.

• Serve as the main point of contact for clients located in the U.S.

• Provide consistent status updates and communications at the executive level.

• Conduct kickoff meetings, sprint planning sessions, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, stakeholder meetings, and project reviews.

• Monitor project scope, schedule, budget, risks, dependencies, and resource allocation.

• Recognize project risks and execute mitigation strategies.

• Track KPIs, project health, team capacity, and overall performance using project dashboards.

• Ensure adherence to Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or Hybrid methodologies as suitable.

• Promote continuous improvement by refining workflows, documentation, and project governance.

• Generate executive reports and relay project progress to internal leadership and clients.

• Assist in digital transformation initiatives and process automation throughout the organization.

• Complete a one-way video interview as the subsequent step in the hiring process.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, Information Technology, Construction Management, Biotechnology, or a related discipline.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience managing projects from initiation through to successful delivery.

• Experience in overseeing projects within Technology, Biotech, Construction, Engineering, Healthcare, or similar complex sectors.

• Proven ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects.

• Experience in leading cross-functional and multidisciplinary teams in fast-paced settings.

• Strong communication skills for client-facing interactions and stakeholder management.

• Experience in executive-level communications.

• Familiarity with working in cross-functional, international, remote, distributed, and multicultural teams.

• Practical experience with Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall, or Hybrid project management methodologies.

• Proficient in project management tools like Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, Monday.com, Smartsheet, Asana, ClickUp, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.

• Experience in managing project scope, timelines, budgets, resources, risks, dependencies, KPIs, and deliverables.

• Skilled in facilitating project meetings, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and project status reviews.

• Experienced in preparing project dashboards, KPIs, executive reports, and progress updates for clients and leadership.

• Proficient in identifying project risks, implementing mitigation strategies, and proactively resolving project issues.

• Professional/advanced English proficiency (B2+/C1), with experience in direct communication with U.S.-based clients and international teams.

• Strong skills in problem-solving, organization, decision-making, attention to detail, follow-through, and accountability.

• Capability to work independently in a remote, multicultural environment.

• Preferred certifications include PMP®, CAPM®, PMI-ACP®, Scrum Master (CSM/PSM), SAFe®, or PRINCE2.

• Preferred experience in digital transformation, SaaS, cloud migration, ERP, infrastructure, biotech, or large-scale construction projects.

• Preferred experience with AI-powered productivity and project management tools.

• Preferred familiarity with Power BI or project portfolio reporting dashboards.

• Preferred experience in developing project governance frameworks, PMO processes, or standardized project documentation.
