Project Management Lead – Talent Pipeline

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Lead small to medium-sized programs and portfolios comprising multiple workstreams, with an annual revenue of up to $5M.

• Provide strategic delivery guidance to Project Managers and manage individual tracks as needed.

• Develop and implement program delivery plans that encompass milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and resource allocation.

• Oversee the management of risks, issues, dependencies, assumptions, and decisions until resolution.

• Uphold project management best practices and create processes to address any identified gaps.

• Supervise team capacity planning and provide backfill for Project Managers when necessary.

• Maintain an organized and up-to-date program knowledge repository.

• Mentor teams on Waterfall, Kanban, Agile, and Agentic delivery methodologies.

• Establish delivery guardrails and human review checkpoints for AI-assisted outputs.

• Organize work between AI agents and team members, incorporating risk logs and permission boundaries.

• Align senior client stakeholders to an agentic operational model.

• Report on program outcomes, time to value, delivery velocity, and validation of measurable value.

• Advocate for reusable prompts, skills, agents, and automations.

• Manage relationships with executive and middle-management clients.

• Communicate program status, risks, and trade-offs to both internal and external stakeholders.

• Navigate complex client situations and resolve conflicts.

• Collaborate with Client Services and account leadership to identify opportunities for growth.

• Contribute to RFPs, pitches, and proposals.

• Present delivery methodologies, timelines, workflows, resourcing plans, and budget estimates to potential clients.

• Work collaboratively across disciplines to standardize delivery methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8–15 years of experience leading comprehensive digital solution delivery in consulting or agency settings for enterprise clients, including multi-track programs.

• Demonstrated ability to establish trusted relationships with Director, VP, and C-suite client leadership.

• Proficiency in Agile, Kanban, waterfall, and agentic delivery frameworks.

• Strong commercial acumen regarding program budgets, forecasting, fixed-price and Time & Materials agreements, and proposal estimates.

• Experience managing small to medium programs or portfolios with annual revenue up to $5M from initiation to closure.

• Proven ability to demonstrate measurable value while maintaining baseline margin targets and mitigating scope, timeline, and commercial risks.

• Skilled at mobilizing and guiding teams through ambiguity in an AI-driven context.

• Familiarity with Composable/Headless CMS, E-commerce/Commerce, Loyalty, Personalization, and Analytics.

• Proficient in tools such as Claude, Gemini, Co-pilot, JIRA, Confluence, Notion, Instagantt, Smartsheet, and Google Suite.

• In-depth knowledge of the software development lifecycle, CI/CD, and delivery workflows across product, design, development, and QA.

• Understanding of AI, machine learning, data analytics, cloud computing, and platform integrations.

• Practical experience utilizing LLMs and AI workflows for planning, documentation, and reporting, with strong evaluation skills.

• Exceptional written and oral communication abilities.

• High emotional intelligence, capable of navigating conflict and influencing stakeholders without formal authority.

• Strong sense of accountability, a customer-centric mindset, adaptability, and sound judgment.

• Preferred candidates should be based in Canada and have working hours aligned with Pacific Time or Eastern Time.
