Project Leader

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee and direct medium to high complexity clinical trials or low complexity clinical trial programs with complete accountability for project deliverables, timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

• Create and sustain detailed project plans that include milestones, budgets, resources, and performance metrics.

• Maintain study-level client relationships and set communication standards to guarantee client satisfaction and timely project delivery.

• Ensure project profitability through budget management, revenue recognition, forecasting, resource allocation, and management of scope changes.

• Identify potential project risks and establish contingency plans to mitigate them.

• Set quality standards, monitor deliverables, and apply corrective and preventive measures.

• Lead cross-functional project teams towards successful study completion while maintaining accountability through regular project reviews.

• Represent Project Leadership during client meetings, bid pursuits, investigator meetings, and professional conferences.

• Mentor Project Leaders and junior staff while supporting program management responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in clinical research, healthcare, or a regulated environment, demonstrating success in managing complex projects.

• Advanced skills in project management and strategic thinking.

• Outstanding interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, along with strong conflict resolution abilities.

• Ability to work autonomously with minimal oversight, analyze complex scenarios, and create innovative solutions.

• Patient-centered approach, high accountability, and keen attention to detail.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), project planning software, and standard clinical research systems (CTMS, EDC, IXRS, TMF).

• Capacity to excel in a matrix environment and embrace Parexel's High-Performance Culture principles.

• Bachelor's degree in a science or medical-related discipline.

• Demonstrated advanced project management experience in healthcare, clinical research, or contract research organizations.

• Proven ability to develop and manage client relationships at the project level.

• Familiarity with ICH-GCP, regulatory standards, and clinical trial processes.

• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
