Project Executive, Grocery & Retail Construction

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Lead construction programs for retail and grocery across multiple sites, from planning to execution.

• Collaborate with senior client stakeholders to define program strategies, budgets, timelines, and priorities.

• Supervise financial performance, including forecasting, contract management, and risk assessment.

• Manage and nurture project teams while promoting accountability and excellence in execution.

• Cultivate robust relationships with clients, contractors, consultants, and vendors.

• Identify and pursue opportunities to enhance program performance and broaden client partnerships.

• Direct a national grocery retailer's store reinvestment and construction portfolio.

• Oversee capital programs, store renovations, and optimization projects across the United States.

• Act as a trusted advisor to senior client leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 15 years of experience in construction, program management, or project leadership.

• Demonstrated success in leading extensive, multi-site retail, grocery, big-box, fuel/convenience, or comparable construction programs.

• Experience in managing project portfolios, budgets, financial forecasting, and contract negotiations.

• Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders effectively.

• Proven experience in leading high-performing teams in dynamic environments.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
