Project Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Implement complex mid- to large-scale IT projects with minimal supervision.

• Lead the technical analysis, solution execution, system integration, and infrastructure deployment.

• Oversee planning, testing, documentation, and deployment processes.

• Create project plans, timelines, and resource allocation requirements.

• Manage assigned tasks through to formal completion.

• Conduct requirement discovery to define project scope.

• Collaborate with vendors, partners, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.

• Serve as a technical escalation point for delivery obstacles.

• Work with engineering and functional teams to design and implement effective solutions.

• Contribute to the development of technical documentation, standards, best practices, and ongoing improvements.

• Gather both technical and business requirements from clients and stakeholders.

• Act as the primary communication point for the project, facilitating meetings, status updates, and reviews.

• Manage client expectations and liaise with third-party vendors.

• Support quality assurance processes, validate implementations, and enhance checklists and validation techniques.

• Integrate AI and automation tools throughout the project lifecycle.

• Utilize AI-assisted tools for documentation, requirements analysis, technical validation, risk identification, and optimization.

• Leverage automation frameworks, scripts, orchestration tools, APIs, and reusable playbooks to facilitate scalable deployments.

• Apply AI and automation thoughtfully while ensuring data security and governance standards are upheld.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–6+ years of experience in project engineering, technical project delivery, or infrastructure roles.

• Proven experience in delivering infrastructure, cloud, or IT transformation projects.

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, Intune, and endpoint management.

• Understanding of Active Directory, Entra ID (Azure AD), Group Policy, DNS, Windows Server, and Azure cloud architecture.

• Experience with VMware, Hyper-V, Citrix, and Azure Virtual Desktop.

• Familiarity with backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.

• Experience in Managed Service Provider (MSP) or client-facing environments is preferred.

• Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, PRINCE2, or similar project management methodologies.

• Excellent communication, coordination, and documentation skills.

• Preferred certifications include AZ-104, AZ-305, MS-102, SC-300, AZ-500, VCP-DCV or equivalent, as well as PMI, PRINCE2, or similar project management certifications.
