Project Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with Area Managers, Region Engineers, and Geopier licensee teams to offer project-specific technical guidance and direction for project feasibility and bidding efforts pertaining to Geopier design-build solutions.

• Work alongside Area Managers to conduct engineering analyses and prepare design reviews.

• Create or evaluate engineering calculations and determine engineering direction on projects with minimal supervision.

• Assist the Design Center review team by executing slope stability and other geotechnical analyses to develop RAP designs.

• Provide support in addressing construction challenges and design-related issues.

• Review and authorize Rammed Aggregate Pier (RAP) and other system designs.

• Prepare and present technical presentations at both internal and external meetings and workshops.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in the geotechnical or structural engineering field.

• Strong understanding of soil mechanics and structural loading conditions.

• Experience in reading and interpreting project documents and drawings.

• Excellent interpersonal skills; a clear communicator, skilled in both electronic and verbal communications; maintains a professional appearance and demeanor.

• Ability to plan, prioritize, and effectively manage issues, tasks, and deliverables from inception to completion.

• Proficient computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet usage.

• Familiarity with computer systems and software, such as AutoCAD, Microsoft applications, and other geotechnical software including SLIDE, SLOPE-W, and Settle 3D.

• A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.

• A PE (Professional Engineer) License is considered a plus.
