Project Controls Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Maintain logs for project risks and opportunities to assess potential financial exposure.

• Ensure a positive cash flow for projects through careful monthly billing processes.

• Accurately forecast project costs and performance in a timely manner.

• Monitor and report on the financial health of projects to management.

• Assist in evaluating and calculating change orders.

• Generate a schedule of values and support job setups.

• Ensure data quality to aid in future project estimations.

• Help enhance processes for tracking field productivity.

• Travel to project sites as necessary.

• Collaborate with engineering, construction, and finance teams to facilitate project execution and ongoing improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Hands-on experience in visiting, collaborating, and working within a construction field environment.

• Education or experience in project controls, project management, scheduling, or financial analysis within large-scale construction or energy industries.

• Proficient in Excel or Smartsheet.

• Experience in forecasting job costs.

• Ability to analyze data and communicate insights effectively.

• Willingness to travel as needed to project sites.

• Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Vista by Viewpoint, or Oracle.

• Experience in utility-scale solar or renewable energy projects.

• Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) or similar project performance methodologies.

• Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar).

• Residing in the Southwest United States.

• Experience in leading meetings.

• Must successfully pass a drug test as required by state law.
