Project Control Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Assist client Project Managers by conducting high-confidence interval analysis of costs and schedules utilizing earned value methodology.

• Create, update, and maintain project schedules.

• Execute schedule analysis to detect delays and suggest corrective measures.

• Perform cost tracking, forecasting, and variance analysis, coupled with proposals for corrective actions.

• Compute and evaluate earned value metrics to uncover project performance challenges.

• Identify and evaluate project risks while formulating mitigation strategies.

• Oversee and manage project scope to ensure alignment with objectives.

• Monitor and manage project resources effectively.

• Provide insights on processes, metrics, and reports both internally and to the client.

• Facilitate effective communication among the project team and internal task forces and initiatives.

• Make informed, data-driven recommendations that influence project and portfolio results.

• Ensure the integrity and accuracy of data.

• Mentor and train new Project Controls Analysts on project controls processes and procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in construction engineering, construction management, construction technology, civil engineering, another engineering discipline, business management, analytics, or a related certification, along with 3 years of relevant work experience, OR 4 years of relevant experience in project controls, project management, construction management, or a related area.

• Proficiency in Excel for data analysis, including VLOOKUPs, XLOOKUPs, and pivot tables.

• Capability to utilize Primavera P6 / Oracle Primavera Cloud.

• Skill in creating and maintaining CPM schedules that comply with EVM and client reporting requirements.

• Ability to construct and sustain EVM schedules throughout the project closeout phase.

• Adherence to client and EVM reporting standards.

• Preferred: 5 years of relevant work experience.

• Preferred: Familiarity with SAP or Oracle suite.

• Preferred: Understanding of the Construction and/or Utilities sectors.

• Residency required in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Maryland, West Virginia, or New Jersey.
