This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Assist motivated high school students in identifying research directions and formulating research inquiries.

• Aid students in engaging with academic literature while grasping the fundamentals of academic research and writing.

• Instruct students on how to structure arguments, synthesize sources, develop paragraphs, and express themselves clearly in academic English.

• Support students in drafting introductions, literature reviews, methodology sections, and other organized parts of a paper.

• Offer constructive feedback on structure, argumentation, clarity, coherence, transitions, academic tone, and paragraph-level writing.

• Help students set up research and writing workflows, establish milestones, and maintain drafting and revision momentum.

• Provide frameworks, guidance, and feedback while ensuring students retain ownership of their ideas and written work.

• Collaborate with Research Mentors to enhance the research mentorship experience.

• Review student materials prior to sessions and keep accurate session notes along with progress tracking.

• Submit session reports within 48 hours and respond to communications from Indigo within 48 hours.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree from a Top 20 university.

• Strong foundation in academic writing and research.

• Experience in teaching or coaching writing at the high school or undergraduate level.

• Capability to simplify complex writing concepts into clear, actionable advice.

• Comfortable working with high-achieving international students.

• Ability to balance structure and flexibility according to student needs.

• Must be able to submit session reports within 48 hours.

• Must be able to respond to Indigo communications within 48 hours.
