Project Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Input and manage accounts payable.

• Record cash deposits accurately.

• Document credit card transactions.

• Conduct bank and credit card reconciliations to assist Senior Staff and Controller-level colleagues.

• Analyze client accounting issues to determine root causes and suggest effective solutions.

• Enhance client and firm processes to increase profitability.

• Provide client service that aligns with the standards of the SN Way.

• Identify opportunities for cross-selling and engage in networking to attract new business leads.

• Offer support and guidance to teammates, fostering team success.

• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to accomplish tasks efficiently.

• Oversee client projects with minimal supervision when appropriate.

• Acquire knowledge of additional accounting software as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of experience with Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint is essential.

• Strong organizational capabilities to handle multiple client accounting tasks simultaneously.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Openness to learning new accounting software programs.

• Proficiency in Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint for OAS transactional accounting functions.

• Experience in transactional accounting, including accounts payable entry, cash deposit recording, and credit card transaction entry.

• Familiarity with bank reconciliation processes.

• Ability to maintain professional relationships with AEC clients.

• Capacity to collaborate effectively with Senior Staff and Controllers.

• Problem-solving skills to pinpoint root causes of client accounting issues and offer solutions.

• Preferred familiarity with accounting in the AEC industry.

• Preferred experience with month-end accounting processes.

• Additional experience with accounting software is preferred.

• Proven success in a fully remote work environment.

• Experience in a professional services setting.
