Programmer Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Design and maintain business application systems for a diverse range of clients

• Provide ongoing application maintenance and support on a daily basis

• Assist in digital transformation initiatives by replacing outdated applications

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, project teams, application support, and other SNB groups to grasp client and technical requirements

• Suggest solutions that address the needs and user stories

• Estimate the effort involved and the timelines for implementation

• Develop, document, test, and execute technical solutions that meet business needs

• Aid Product/Business Owners during user acceptance testing

• Work with Technology Services teams to explore and implement effective system solutions

• Handle multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines in a dynamic environment

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline along with a minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience in system development OR a two (2) year college diploma in Information Technology with at least four (4) years of relevant experience in system development

• A combination of education, training, and experience may also be considered

• Recent experience with .NET Framework Development (C#, VB.NET, .NET Core (C#), Java development, or Oracle Forms development)

• Familiarity with SQL Server procedures and SQL functions or Oracle Database experience and PL/SQL

• Proficiency in both written and spoken English is required

• Occasional weekday evening and weekend work hours may be necessary

• Criminal History Clearance is required prior to appointment

• Candidates must clearly demonstrate the essential qualifications and indicate their language skills and preferred language for assessment
