This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Oversee the implementation and enhancement of programmatic advertising campaigns for pharmaceutical clients.
• Monitor and evaluate campaign performance, ensuring brand safety and viewability.
• Supervise Programmatic Traders and assign tasks throughout the team.
• Responsible for the quality assurance of Programmatic Trader tasks and deliverables.
• Serve as the programmatic contact for designated accounts and brands.
• Foster relationships with clients, vendors, and agency partners.
• Offer media thought leadership and guidance to media planning and account teams.
• Manage proposals, recommendations, and executional outputs for assigned brands.
• Create client-facing slides and presentations.
• Collaborate with Media, Account, and Analytics teams on programmatic strategies.
• Develop team documentation, playbooks, and best practices.
• Conduct data analysis, optimization, and campaign reporting.
• Identify trends, media insights, and case studies.
• Oversee campaign audits, checks and balances, risk mitigation, and escalation processes.
• Ensure adherence to FDA/OPDP guidelines, MLR requirements, healthcare advertising policies, HIPAA, and data privacy considerations.
• Manage data partners and audience creation efforts.
• Assess and negotiate with media vendors and third-party verification/measurement partners.
• Supervise programmatic budgets and resource allocation.
• Train, mentor, and onboard Programmatic Traders and Associate Programmatic Traders.
• Keep abreast of emerging trends and technologies, contributing to industry perspectives.

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent education combined with professional experience is required.
• 4–7 years of experience in programmatic advertising, data analysis, and campaign management, including hands-on keyboard experience.
• Demonstrated experience in managing programmatic campaigns and leading programmatic teams.
• In-depth knowledge of demand-side platforms, including The Trade Desk, DV360, and Amazon DSP.
• Experience in managing data partners and audience creation initiatives.
• Comprehensive knowledge of third-party verification tools such as DoubleVerify, IAS, and MOAT.
• Familiarity with HIPAA and data privacy considerations for HCP and DTC/patient audience targeting.
• Understanding of MLR review processes, FDA/OPDP promotional guidelines, and platform-specific healthcare advertising policies.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including proficiency in pivot tables and formulas.
• Keen attention to detail and quality assurance processes.
• Capability to train and mentor others.
• Ability to independently create client-facing slides and presentations.
• Thorough understanding of the media process from initiation to completion, with nuanced task delegation.
• Capacity to work independently and make decisions within a larger team context.
• Experience managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Advanced problem-solving, prioritization, multitasking, and time-management skills.
• Preferred: advanced degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Preferred: experience in a pharmaceutical or healthcare marketing agency, focusing on HCP and DTC/patient campaigns.
• Preferred: knowledge of healthcare-specific NPI-matched DSPs and data partners, programmatic guaranteed/PMP deal negotiation, relevant platform certifications, and pharmaceutical therapeutic-area experience.
