Program Specialist – 12 Month Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Cultivate and sustain relationships with regional partners, instructors, instructor trainers, training institutions, and professional organizations.

• Facilitate the adoption, delivery, sustainability, growth, onboarding, and retention of resuscitation programs.

• Identify business development prospects with new and current regional partners.

• Act as the primary contact for designated external stakeholders.

• Foster high-value and high-performing instructors and organizations.

• Ensure compliance with resuscitation program standards, policies, and guidelines.

• Provide guidance to instructors and training partners regarding program requirements and quality expectations.

• Receive, evaluate, document, investigate, and assist in resolving program quality issues, complaints, QA infractions, and escalations.

• Leverage digital and AI-enabled tools to enhance administration and improve program quality oversight.

• Offer network knowledge, data-driven insights, and recommendations to aid decision-making and market positioning.

• Utilize Salesforce, reports, and analytics tools to track network activity, performance trends, and engagement.

• Coordinate the regional implementation of resuscitation programs, initiatives, and updates.

• Represent Heart & Stroke at both virtual and in-person regional events.

• Identify gaps in delivery standards and offer guidance.

• Assist with program administration, education, awareness, and ongoing improvement.

• Organize special events and manage volunteers as needed.

• Participate in cross-functional working groups, meetings, and initiatives.

• Serve as a liaison between external stakeholders and internal teams.

• Enhance the responses of the Resuscitation Support Centre.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree, diploma, or certificate in business, health science, or a related field.

• An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

• Certification or training in adult education is an asset.

• A minimum of 3 years' experience in project/program management, relationship management, customer service, or business development/corporate sales.

• Heart & Stroke Instructor certification and/or other agency instructional experience is a plus.

• Familiarity with provincial healthcare systems and resuscitation training agencies is beneficial.

• Experience in the healthcare sector is an asset.

• Background in the not-for-profit sector is desirable.

• Proficient knowledge and skills in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Experience with Salesforce or other CRM applications to convert data into insights, recommendations, and actions.

• A mindset geared towards continuous improvement.

• Comfort with using digital and AI-enabled tools to enhance efficiency and quality of work outputs.

• Bilingual in French and English is an asset.

• Applicants must currently reside in Canada and be legally entitled to work in Canada.
