Program Manager – Specialty Programs

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the daily operational leader for one or more specialty care programs.

• Strategically plan, manage, and enhance operational workflows for designated specialty programs.

• Oversee the clinician scheduling framework, track utilization, pinpoint capacity gaps, and implement scheduling modifications.

• Function as the main operational liaison for the assigned clinical teams.

• Address team support requirements and ensure accurate records for programs and clinicians.

• Track performance metrics at both the program and clinician levels, identify trends, and escalate potential risks.

• Assist in the interviewing, onboarding, and training processes for clinical personnel.

• Sustain onboarding documentation and the program's knowledge management system.

• Create operational playbooks, best-practice guidelines, and job aids.

• Transform leadership objectives into structured workplans and manage interdependencies.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with IT, data analytics, clinical operations, and various teams.

• Develop and sustain operational dashboards and reporting within Salesforce and PowerBI.

• Revise clinician-facing tools as fields, workflows, or program specifications evolve.

• Prepare executive-level materials for program updates and leadership presentations.

• Monitor operational KPIs and utilize data to suggest process enhancements.

• Identify and rectify gaps in documentation, reporting, and workflow coverage.

• Utilize AI tools like Claude to boost productivity, automate repetitive tasks, and refine documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree is mandatory; advanced degrees (MBA, MPH, MHA) are preferred.

• At least three (3) years of pertinent experience in healthcare operations, clinical program management, or healthcare consulting.

• Proven ability to manage intricate, multi-workstream programs from start to finish, including planning, cross-functional accountability, and escalation management.

• Advanced project management skills with multiple simultaneous workflows and a high level of autonomy.

• Documented experience in leveraging AI tools (e.g., Claude).

• Capability to convert program objectives into structured workplans with defined tasks, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.

• Strong communication skills with RNs, APPs, physicians, and senior leadership.

• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with competing demands and tight deadlines.

• Experience in palliative care, hospice, or complex chronic condition management is preferred.

• Experience in a rapidly growing healthcare setting is highly preferred.

• Proficiency in Salesforce is strongly preferred.

• Experience with PowerBI and Excel is strongly preferred.
