This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the roadmap and lead the execution for launching products, states, and brands on comparative rater platforms.

• Act as the primary liaison for rater and direct-agency integration issues, escalations, and migration requests.

• Develop the strategy and roadmap for transitioning raters and agencies from point-to-point connections to the Gateway API.

• Convert launch and migration roadmaps into defined, sequenced engineering tasks in collaboration with Product and Engineering teams.

• Synchronize launch and migration schedules with Distribution leaders and manage communications with external partners.

• Cultivate proactive relationships with rater partners and agencies that are directly integrated.

• Represent the technical aspect of the team in National Partner calls and deliver presentations to agents.

• Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as time-to-live, migration speed, uptime, quote volume, conversion rates, discount capture, rate leakage, and escalation resolution times.

• Maintain project plans, timelines, and communications regarding integrations, performance, and associated risks/issues.

• Review partner data structures and submissions to uncover mapping issues that hinder discounts or lead to unfavorable rates.

• Collaborate with Product and Underwriting to incorporate changes in rating rules, discounts, and eligibility across integrations.

• Create monitoring and reporting systems to detect data quality or mapping issues that impact rate competitiveness.

• Set governance and onboarding standards for future Gateway API connections.

• Identify strategic opportunities, competitive deficiencies, and growth prospects within the rater and direct-agency network.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in program management, integration program management, or partner/vendor program management.

• Experience engaging with both technical and business stakeholder groups.

• Direct experience with comparative rater platforms such as EZLynx, PL Rater, TurboRater/ITC, Bolt, or similar platforms.

• Proven track record in launching new products, states, or carriers/brands on comparative rater platforms.

• Familiarity with agency connectivity, API gateway, or system migration initiatives.

• Experience transitioning point-to-point or system-specific integrations to a centralized API or gateway model.

• Acted as the primary contact for external technical escalations.

• Working knowledge of REST, SOAP, and gateway/proxy architectures.

• Strong skills in program governance, including roadmapping, dependency management, KPI definition, and cross-team risk escalation.

• Ability to establish prioritization frameworks and convey trade-offs effectively to executive stakeholders.

• Required experience in the insurance industry, including P&C, agency distribution, comparative rating, or carrier integrations.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Comfort in presenting recommendations to senior leadership and negotiating with agents, rater partners, and agency partners.

• Capable of collaborating with engineers to analyze submitted data and rating logic.

• Experience working with Sales or Business Development teams on scoping, feasibility, and technical credibility.
