IT Integration Program Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the comprehensive IT integration program for a newly acquired organization.

• Evaluate the technology landscape of the acquired company and pinpoint integration priorities, gaps, and opportunities.

• Collaborate with technology leaders and business stakeholders to assess systems, infrastructure, applications, vendors, and technology contracts.

• Formulate the integration strategy, including priorities, timelines, resource needs, milestones, and measurable outcomes.

• Oversee infrastructure, cloud services, cybersecurity, identity management, Microsoft 365, enterprise applications, architecture, licensing, and procurement activities.

• Direct technology rationalization efforts related to maintenance, consolidation, migration, replacement, or decommissioning.

• Identify opportunities for operational streamlining, vendor optimization, redundancy elimination, cost efficiencies, and technology synergies.

• Establish program governance and maintain project plans, track risks and issues, manage decision logs, dependencies, and executive reporting.

• Coordinate with technical teams, business leaders, and external stakeholders to address integration challenges and dependencies.

• Supervise the execution of integration activities, transition systems and processes, assign ownership, and resolve outstanding risks and deliverables.

• Develop a scalable M&A IT integration framework with standardized processes, templates, governance structures, assessment tools, and lessons learned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in managing IT programs, projects, or portfolios within complex enterprise settings.

• Demonstrated experience in leading IT integration initiatives as a result of mergers or acquisitions.

• Must have taken ownership of the integration process, encompassing technology assessment, strategy development, roadmap creation, execution oversight, and transition to operations.

• Strong comprehension of the M&A technology integration lifecycle.

• Capability to independently establish methods, drive decisions, and achieve results with little supervision.

• Experience in integrating infrastructure, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, identity and access management, Microsoft 365, and business applications.

• Proven track record in managing cross-functional teams, multiple concurrent workstreams, complex dependencies, and competing priorities.

• Ability to assess technology environments and formulate recommendations for platform consolidation, migration, replacement, and retirement.

• Strong financial and operational insight.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to present program status, risks, recommendations, and decisions to executive leadership.

• Strong organizational and analytical capabilities.

• Practical experience in developing program roadmaps, governance processes, and executive-level reporting.
