This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada.
• Oversee the architectural design and hands-on execution of scalable cloud-based lakehouse and data warehouse solutions for PIC operations.
• Utilize Databricks and AWS or similar platforms to fulfill Nokia's operational data requirements.
• Lead the design, optimization, and enhancement of enterprise data models and semantic layers.
• Construct, develop, and sustain robust batch and real-time data pipelines using ETL/ELT and streaming technologies.
• Create data quality frameworks alongside monitoring and observability practices.
• Execute CI/CD pipelines and implement DataOps best practices.
• Direct enterprise data governance, which includes cataloging, lineage, metadata management, and access controls.
• Design and enforce security protocols and role-based access management.
• Establish governed, AI-ready data foundations for self-service analytics, AI-assisted exploration, and advanced analysis.
• Facilitate secure access to trusted enterprise data for business, engineering, and analytics teams.
• Develop data infrastructure for AI, automation, machine learning, and advanced analytics projects.
• Lead, mentor, and motivate product engineers while establishing technical standards and advocating for engineering best practices.
• Promote data excellence, accountability, self-service empowerment, and continuous innovation.
• Over 15 years of progressive experience in data engineering, data architecture, or related domains.
• Demonstrated success in delivering impactful solutions within wafer and chip fabrication processes.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• More than 5 years of experience in leading, developing, and motivating technical teams.
• In-depth knowledge of SQL, modern cloud data platforms, and distributed data processing frameworks.
• Practical experience with Databricks, Redshift, or BigQuery.
• Proven experience in building governed data platforms and data products that facilitate self-service analytics, AI-assisted analytics, machine learning, and advanced analytical workloads.
• Familiarity with Databricks lakehouse architecture, Unity Catalog, Genie, and Genie Code is highly preferred.
• Strong comprehension of enterprise data modeling, dimensional modeling, and semantic layers.
• Experience with data orchestration tools and advanced data pipeline automation.
• Ability to design and implement scalable, secure, governed, and dependable enterprise data solutions.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Capability to collaborate cross-functionally with business, engineering, analytics, and technology teams.
