Data Quality Engineer – Energy Domain

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Execute and implement tests at all designated levels, log and assess results, and document any deviations from expected outcomes.

• Utilize test administration, monitoring, and management tools effectively.

• Engage in the setup of the test environment.

• Prepare and obtain test data as required.

• Assist in the creation, validation, and updating of test documentation (including test cases, test plans, etc.).

• Review, analyze, and evaluate project requirements and specifications to transform them into quality control process artifacts.

• Review test artifacts produced by team members.

• Maintain communication with other team members.

• Report on test progress to stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient SQL skills.

• Familiarity with data validation techniques (such as row counts, checksums, and before/after comparisons).

• Solid understanding of ETL processes and data pipelines.

• Experience with at least one relational database management system (RDBMS) such as PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL.

• Knowledge of regression testing approaches for database-dependent applications.

• Experience with test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr, Azure Test Plans).

• Proficiency in bug tracking using Azure DevOps.

• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and the deployment of database changes (e.g., Azure DevOps).

• Strong skills in API testing.

• Upper-Intermediate level of English proficiency.
