This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

• Design, implement, and enhance scalable and secure data architectures.

• Develop and uphold data ingestion, integration, processing, and delivery pipelines.

• Construct and manage Data Lake, Data Warehouse, and analytics environments.

• Ensure the quality, traceability, security, and governance of data.

• Integrate data from various corporate systems, applications, and sources.

• Aid in defining data architecture standards, best practices, and strategies.

• Optimize processes for data storage, transformation, and consumption.

• Collaborate with business units, analytics, BI, data science, and technology teams to support data-driven solutions.

• Act as a technical resource for data initiatives and provide technical assistance to multidisciplinary teams.

• Engage in the definition, implementation, and evolution of contemporary cloud data platforms.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Chemistry, or a related discipline.

• Proven experience in Data Engineering and data solution architecture.

• Familiarity with data modeling and systems integration.

• Experience in building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines.

• Proficient in advanced SQL.

• Experience in processing and transforming substantial volumes of data.

• Knowledge of data governance, quality, and security practices.

• Experience with Data Lake and Data Warehouse environments.

• Understanding of cloud data platforms and services.

• Ability to effectively collaborate with technical teams and business functions.

• Databricks certifications or training is a plus.

• Experience with SAP Datasphere.

• Familiarity with Cognite.

• Experience with Dataiku.

• Knowledge of Python for data engineering and automation tasks.

• Experience with modern data and analytics architectures.

• Background in technical leadership or coordination of data teams.

• Understanding of DataOps, Git, and agile methodologies.
