Program Manager – Ops

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create and sustain comprehensive project plans for multiple simultaneous projects and programs.

• Lead planning sessions with cross-functional teams to establish tasks, estimates, dependencies, and owners.

• Oversee daily project execution through standups or check-ins, status tracking, risk and issue logs, and follow-through on action items.

• Manage communication and project plans using Pearl's Notion platform.

• Identify obstacles early and work towards their resolution, escalating issues that require leadership attention along with recommendations.

• Keep project documentation, trackers, and status reports accurate and up-to-date.

• Coordinate handoffs and dependencies across various departments.

• Develop simple, repeatable project management practices alongside the Product team and VP of Operations.

• Assist in program-level rollups to provide leadership with a dependable view of portfolio health.

• Convert strategic priorities and committed requirements into thorough project plans.

• Proactively manage plans, highlight risks, adjust timelines, and keep stakeholders informed.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4–7 years of experience in project or program management.

• Proven track record of managing multiple concurrent cross-functional projects.

• Experience in a startup or small company working directly with delivery teams.

• Strong expertise in work breakdown, dependency mapping, estimation, risk management, and status communication.

• Excellent facilitation abilities.

• High attention to detail and strong follow-through.

• Ability to navigate ambiguity comfortably.

• Clear and concise written communication skills.

• Proficient in Notion, AI tools, and automation capabilities for program management.

• Preferred: PMP, CAPM, or agile certification (or equivalent practical experience).

• Preferred: Background in home performance, energy efficiency, climate tech, SaaS, or data products.

• Preferred: Experience in implementing or enhancing project management practices.

• Required to respond to application questions regarding hands-on experience instead of submitting a cover letter.
