This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver expert consultation, coaching, and education to independent advisory practices focusing on growth-centric practice management topics.
• Act as SEI’s subject matter authority on organic growth for advisory firms.
• Create viewpoints, frameworks, and best practices for advisors.
• Perform business audit reviews and growth evaluations.
• Offer tailored recommendations that convert strategy into action.
• Utilize and deliver presentations, workshops, and training sessions.
• Work in collaboration with Practice Management Consultants across growth, scale, and transition areas.
• Contribute to articles, webinars, podcasts, and other educational initiatives.
• Function as the dedicated Practice Management Liaison and primary daily contact for Stratos advisors, Relationship Managers, and leadership.
• Represent SEI Practice Management and its offerings to Stratos.
• Organize consultants, tools, programs, and resources for Stratos advisors.
• Oversee the strategy and implementation of SEI’s long-term support for Stratos.
• Advocate for Stratos advisor needs, feedback, and priorities within SEI.
• Collaborate with Advisor Services, Sales, Relationship Management, and Marketing teams.
• Travel to support Stratos advisors, events, presentations, and leadership meetings.
• At least 5 years of experience assisting financial advisors in growing their businesses through consulting, coaching, practice management, marketing, business development, or leadership roles.
• Extensive expertise in organic growth strategies for advisory firms, encompassing business planning, ideal client persona development, value proposition and messaging, referral strategy, and marketing.
• Strong comprehension of the independent advisor and RIA landscape, along with sustainable and profitable growth drivers.
• Demonstrated success in achieving growth outcomes for advisory firms and their personnel.
• Excellent relationship-management capabilities.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with face-to-face, in-person, and virtual presentations, including live video, recorded video, phone, and email communication.
• Ability to convert high-level growth strategies into practical, actionable advice and plans.
• Capability to influence without authority within SEI and Stratos organizations.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
• Previous experience as a relationship manager, liaison, or embedded consultant for a large advisory firm, RIA, or partner organization.
• Experience within a hybrid/independent advisor platform, broker-dealer, or large RIA.
• Background in marketing, branding, or business development applied to financial services.
• Experience in designing educational content, playbooks, or decision frameworks.
• Skilled in analyzing business data and metrics.
• Professional certifications such as CFP®, CIMA®, or CEPA® are beneficial but not required.
