Program Manager II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Manage several intricate technical projects and initiatives within emergency services, focusing on product development and technological advancements.

• Lead and coordinate initiatives that support 911, NG911, public safety, telecommunications, or emergency services programs.

• Ensure the delivery of complex technical programs while adhering to scope, timelines, and budget constraints.

• Create and maintain program plans that outline schedules, milestones, resources, and dependencies.

• Identify, monitor, and address program risks and issues, escalating them when necessary.

• Foster collaboration among network planning, product management, network operations centers, and various teams.

• Track and report on program progress, metrics, and status to senior leadership and stakeholders.

• Promote continuous improvement of program management processes within the engineering department.

• Assist in capacity planning, resource allocation, and project prioritization across emergency services initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 2 years of relevant experience; or an advanced degree without prior experience; or equivalent professional experience.

• Strong knowledge of E911 and Next Generation 911 (NG911) technologies and services.

• Understanding of ESINets, SIP-based communications, call routing, emergency call delivery, and related telecommunications infrastructure.

• Familiarity with NENA standards, FCC regulations, and industry best practices in public safety.

• Comprehension of carrier, CLEC, ILEC, wireless, VoIP, call flows, and emergency services environments.

• Capability to interpret technical documentation and convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities with both technical and non-technical teams.

• Experience with program management tools such as MS Project, Click Up, or similar applications.

• Ability to prioritize competing demands and lead by influence in a fast-paced setting.
