This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Oversee the supply-side strategy for key products, which encompasses product development and commercialization, as well as financial and market analyses, and the introduction of new products.
β’ Craft and execute market-shaping strategies to enhance access to essential diagnostics.
β’ Utilize CHAIβs presence at the country level to gather market insights and connect global market shaping efforts with domestic demand.
β’ Collaborate with GMT leadership, CHAI teams, and external partners to create work plans that meet market-shaping objectives and grant requirements.
β’ Manage intricate, multi-stakeholder projects and oversee outputs from subcontracted partners.
β’ Foster relationships with high-level executives from diagnostics companies and governmental, multilateral, and non-governmental organizations.
β’ Lead negotiations with diagnostic firms regarding pricing and supply agreements.
β’ Assist suppliers in developing sustainable commercial strategies that facilitate product access across low- and middle-income nations.
β’ Monitor the market landscape for risks and opportunities impacting priority product markets; adjust program strategies as necessary.
β’ Represent CHAI to significant donors and external collaborators.
β’ Engage scientific experts to aid suppliers in areas such as product development, production planning, regulatory approval, quality assurance, and demand forecasting.
β’ Enhance institutional capacity and promote knowledge sharing and management.
β’ Supervise direct and/or indirect reports within a matrixed organization.
β’ Travel up to 25%.
β’ A bachelor's degree along with 8 or more years of relevant work experience.
β’ Experience in the private sector, preferably in strategy consulting and/or investment banking, or similar fast-paced, results-driven environments like the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, diagnostics, or medical device sectors.
β’ Outstanding analytical (both qualitative and quantitative) and communication (written and verbal) skills; meticulous attention to detail.
β’ Innovative thinker capable of developing transformative solutions to challenging global health issues.
β’ Entrepreneurial mindset, including the ability to work independently, self-motivate, propose, and implement new ideas, and inspire others.
β’ Proficient in managing multiple tasks concurrently and establishing priorities.
β’ Capable of absorbing and synthesizing a wide range of information, encompassing financial, regulatory, diagnostic, and scientific data.
β’ Strong enthusiasm for working in a dynamic, multicultural environment; proven ability to quickly build robust relationships, both externally and internally.
β’ Exceptional management skills with a demonstrated history of successfully delivering on complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
β’ Willingness to travel.
β’ Experience working remotely with a decentralized team is a plus.
β’ Background in medical diagnostics and/or global health is advantageous.
β’ Experience working in or supporting low- and middle-income countries is a plus.
