Program Manager – Experience Design and Development

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Define and convert program strategy into precise, actionable objectives.

• Lead programs from inception to completion, ensuring the achievement of key business outcomes and quantifiable benefits.

• Advocate for ethical and responsible decision-making among all stakeholders.

• Establish and guide cross-functional program teams, including project managers and specialists.

• Promote collaboration, innovation, and accountability across various groups.

• Resolve conflicts, influence stakeholders, and maintain team alignment and motivation.

• Oversee program budgets, forecasts, and financial performance.

• Ensure that program outputs align with business objectives.

• Monitor, measure, and deliver the benefits outlined in the business case.

• Design and implement frameworks for program governance, reporting, and assurance.

• Track performance, address risks proactively, and uphold program integrity.

• Drive consistency and excellence throughout all project workstreams.

• Manage dependencies across various initiatives and teams.

• Secure and optimize resources from both internal and external partners.

• Lead risk and issue management with a proactive, solutions-focused approach.

• Build trusted relationships with senior leaders, clients, and cross-functional teams.

• Deliver clear and compelling communication at all levels.

• Serve as the connective link across teams to ensure alignment and success.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 12 months' recent experience in a SAFe team.

• SAFe certification is advantageous.

• Demonstrated success in leading complex, multi-workstream programs.

• Background in collaborating with technology teams in the web or digital arena, including web platforms, CMS, digital experience, or similar fields.

• Experience with the Adobe stack is a plus.

• Strong leadership, team-building, and conflict resolution abilities.

• Extensive experience in governance, financial management, and benefits realization.

• Exceptional skills in stakeholder management and communication.

• Proactive and adaptable mindset capable of thriving in fast-paced environments.
