This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Provide leadership and oversight across the Transformation Management Office portfolio.
• Oversee the comprehensive delivery of enterprise transformation initiatives, which includes planning, execution, risk and issue management, dependency management, budget oversight, stakeholder engagement, and program results.
• Combine various workstreams into a unified roadmap and achieve program milestones and adoption results.
• Manage relationships with vendors and consulting partners.
• Prepare documentation for the Executive Steering Committee.
• Identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks, issues, dependencies, and opportunities throughout the program lifecycle.
• Communicate program progress, key performance indicators (KPIs), and risks to senior leadership, workstream leaders, and stakeholders.
• Develop and sustain the enterprise transformation roadmap.
• Ensure compliance with program governance frameworks.
• Act as the primary point of contact for program communications.
• Foster relationships with business units, sponsors, and workstream leaders.
• Collaborate with the Change Management Advisor to incorporate change and communication strategies into the program roadmap.
• Facilitate cross-functional meetings to ensure alignment on deliverables and priorities.
• Contribute to iterative planning and execution using Scrum and SAFe Agile methodologies.
• Promote consistent Agile practices across programs.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a small project management and delivery team.
• Establish objectives, performance expectations, and development plans for direct reports.
• Monitor workload distribution and proactively highlight resource risks.
• Encourage excellence, collaboration, continuous improvement, and innovation.
• Foster the adoption of new processes, tools, and working methods.
• Leverage AI tools and automation to enhance program delivery, reporting, planning, and communication.
• 8+ years of experience in program management within complex, multi-stakeholder settings.
• Proven experience in coordinating multiple concurrent initiatives or portfolios.
• At least 5 years of direct experience managing Project Managers or similar roles.
• Program Management (PgM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or its equivalent.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe, or Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP).
• Proficiency in project management tools such as Smartsheet, MS Planner, Jira, or other leading platforms.
• Experience overseeing portfolio budgets exceeding $10M.
• Experience in managing strategic risks and program/project governance.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate small, cross-functional teams and collaborate across various business units and workstreams.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, including experience presenting to executive steering committees (ESC).
• Active user of AI productivity tools, such as Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, or similar.
• Experience managing external consulting partners, including Big 4 firms.
• Preferred: Professional certification in Change Management, such as Prosci ADKAR.
• Preferred: Proficiency and/or certification in Benefits Realization Management.
• Preferred: Experience in managing large-scale transformation programs within the technology or not-for-profit sectors.
• Preferred: Expertise in Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies.
• Preferred: Experience taking on roles during organizational transitions or leadership changes.
• Preferred: Familiarity with Power Platform tools, including Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps.
