This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Oversee and direct the Transformation Management Office portfolio, ensuring that enterprise transformation initiatives are in line with organizational priorities.
• Manage the comprehensive delivery of enterprise transformation programs, which includes planning, execution, risk and issue management, dependency oversight, budget management, stakeholder engagement, and achieving key outcomes.
• Coordinate multiple workstreams and maintain a unified integrated roadmap.
• Supervise vendor collaboration and daily consulting partner interactions.
• Prepare documentation for the Executive Steering Committee regarding program delivery.
• Identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks, issues, dependencies, and opportunities related to projects and programs.
• Provide both written and verbal progress updates to senior leadership, workstream leads, and stakeholders on KPIs and associated risks.
• Create and sustain the enterprise transformation roadmap.
• Monitor and report on KPIs, ensuring compliance with program governance frameworks.
• Act as the primary contact for program communications.
• Cultivate relationships with business units, sponsors, and workstream leads.
• Collaborate with the Change Management Advisor to weave change and communication strategies into the program roadmap.
• Facilitate cross-functional meetings to maintain alignment on deliverables and priorities.
• Contribute to iterative planning and execution using Scrum and SAFe methodologies.
• Promote consistent Agile practices across various programs.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a small project management and delivery team.
• Establish objectives, performance expectations, and growth plans for direct reports.
• Supervise workload distribution and highlight resource risks.
• Encourage excellence, collaboration, continuous improvement, and innovation.
• Propel the adoption of new processes, tools, and methods of working.
• Utilize AI tools and automation for program delivery, reporting, planning, and communication.
• Build relationships with sponsors, vendors, and stakeholders within the initial 90 days.
• Onboard the team and clarify performance and collaboration expectations.
• Independently manage at least one reporting cycle and oversee the integrated workstream visual, governance review, roadmap review, and product board.
• Over 8 years of experience in program management within complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
• Proven experience in coordinating multiple concurrent initiatives or portfolios.
• At least 5 years of experience directly managing Project Managers or similar positions.
• Program Management (PgM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or its equivalent.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe, Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP).
• Proficiency in project management tools such as Smartsheet, MS Planner, Jira, or other leading industry platforms.
• Experience managing portfolio budgets exceeding $10M.
• Experience in managing strategic risks, program governance, and project governance.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate small, cross-functional teams while collaborating across multiple business units and workstreams.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, including experience in presenting to an Executive Steering Committee (ESC).
• Active user of AI productivity tools, such as Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, or similar.
• Experience managing external consulting partners, including Big Four firms.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English is required.
• Professional certification in Change Management, such as Prosci ADKAR (preferred).
• Proficiency and/or certification in Benefits Realization Management (preferred).
• Experience managing large-scale transformation programs in the technology or not-for-profit sectors (preferred).
• Expertise in Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies (preferred).
• Experience stepping into a role during a period of organizational transition or leadership change (preferred).
• Familiarity with Power Platform tools: Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps (preferred).
