Program Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of cost, schedule, and performance tracking across key contracts.

• Proactively escalate potential risks.

• Act as the main point of contact for government program offices.

• Conduct program reviews and provide status updates.

• Coordinate deliverables effectively.

• Oversee individual product orders from intake through production coordination to ensure timely and specification-compliant shipments.

• Lead a cross-functional team of 12-15 engineers and subcontractors.

• Convert program requirements into actionable technical tasks.

• Ensure the team meets delivery commitments.

• Collaborate with the Director of Contracts regarding subcontractor performance and deliverables.

• Assist in capture and proposal initiatives as a resource for past performance and technical credibility.

• Resolve resource conflicts across programs.

• Maintain program documentation and provide internal leadership with updates on portfolio health.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5-8 years of experience in program or project management.

• Direct management experience with DoD contracts, including cost, schedule, and performance accountability.

• Operational or mission experience, such as prior military service, embedded operator experience, or direct exposure to the field use of edge sensor/ISR equipment.

• Proven experience as the primary customer point of contact for government program offices.

• Active Top Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one.

• Experience managing cross-functional technical teams to meet delivery deadlines.

• Strong understanding of cost and schedule tracking methodologies.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• U.S. Person status required.

• Program Management certification is preferred.

• Experience in supporting proposal or capture efforts is a plus.

• Familiarity with small to mid-sized defense contractor environments is advantageous.
